About

50 Men Who Care is a philanthropic giving circle that works through the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County (Indiana) to select a worthy local charity each quarter to receive an unrestricted gift (a big check). At each of our meetings three local charities are presented to the members. One of those will be selected by majority vote to receive that quarter’s unrestricted gift, which is funded via donations made by the group members.

50 Men was inspired by the founding of 100+ Women Who Care which predates us. For women who are interested in this form of community giving and wish to join 100+ Women Who Care they can be contacted through their Facebook page.
